Leila-Scott, co-founder of The Center for Healing Arts & Sciences, holds a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a degree in Human Organizational Development with a focus on the psychology of leadership from Vanderbilt University, and certification in TBRI. TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Interventions) is an attachment-based, relationship-oriented, trauma-informed approach to human growth and development, which allows Leila-Scott to meet her patient's emotional needs as they arise during acupuncture sessions, groups, and retreats.
Additionally, she acquired her culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, and has completed multiple long-form yoga trainings which deeply explore the anatomy of mind, body, spirit relationship. Her culinary degree informs her ability to demystify holistic nutrition & food prep for her patients & her yoga experience allows her to invite her patients to move in a way that meets them where they are mentally and physically. Leila-Scott feels strongly that medicine, movement & meals are three things that should further our wellbeing, not make us feel worse. She leads women’s support groups and retreats, and spear-heads the food therapy & movement components of the practice ~ as well as our product development and strategic brand collaborations. |
