RETREAT STRUCTURE
Each day is intended to support your learning and exploration of depth psychology from both a Jungian and Eastern perspective (more related than you might think). We use this framework for a deeper understanding of the psyche and the body.
Most activities are optional, although everyone is expected to attend the morning teaching session. Our morning session provides sufficient content you may further use throughout the day. The morning begins with a yoga class and instruction for meditation. We often spend time doing individual work, or small group work. Following lunch, there is free time when individuals can process what they have learned, take a nap, or arrange time to have an acupuncture session or one-on-one processing with one of our support staff. Late afternoon often provides time for optional workshops. Before dinner, we gather for a social hour and evenings are spent with fireside music, conversation, or watching films we analyze with our lesson material the next day. Our retreat sites provide opportunities for recreation through water sports, walks and hikes, or driving to explore local communities. You can expect three delicious, healthy meals per day, cooked on site for you with love. ** When you arrive you will receive a welcome bag with pre-selected items to help you enjoy your stay. |
